DON’T PUT WATER ON THOSE STAINS!
We continue to get several calls a week asking us how to deal with pet stains. Whether it’s urine or vomit or diarrhea, (thank heaven for spell-check) here are a few tips. Scrape up the solids first of course.
- Blot with paper towels or dry cotton cloth.
- Do NOT pour water on the stains! This will only force the bacteria and odor down into the carpet pad, making it much harder to get rid of the odor.
- Apply Home Pro Spotter or Avenge and blot with cloth.
- Repeat step 3 in 24 hours.
- If you still can’t remove the stain, you don’t have to live with it forever. Give us a call so we can help you love your pet again.
